Last March, during the lock-down for the global outbreak of Covid-19, we reacted by trying to propose a little fun to our friends and previous guests with online cooking meetings & lessons.
Because of the success we decided to propose publicly on our website and social media. It’s a possibility for everyone to learn and cook delicious Italian dishes together, feeling closer to our dears.
Join one of this live and interactive private cooking class from Locanda Demetra in Montalcino, Tuscany, at your preferred hour. Meet with your friends and relatives from different houses and countries.
Programs
- Intensive Pasta Lesson (2 hours): Several kind of fresh pasta and 3 different sauces (with vegetarian options too)
- Italian Lunch (2 hours): fresh Tagliatelle pasta & Tiramisu’
- Let’s bake! (2, 5 hours): Pizza & stuffed bigne’ from scratch
- Quick dinner for friends (1,5 hours): risotto and pork tenderloin
- Sweet lovers (2 hours): gelato, tiramisu’ and cake
- Create your own experience (time depending on program): let’s cook together your favorite Italian dishes
How it works?
We will plan together by email or telephone all the details, then, a few days before the class,we will send a shopping list and a list of eventual tools you should prepare. If anything needs to be purchased, you can choose to do so, or we will tailor the recipe to the items you have on hand.
At least 15 minutes before the lesson starts, you need to prepare the necessary tools and have all of the ingredients ready. This will allow us more time for the lesson.Then we will follow you step by step via Zoom, Skype, Meet or alternatives, in a live interactive private cooking class.

Technical requirements
- Zoom installed on your device. You can download for free at: https://zoom.us/ We will send an invite to join the video meeting. If you prefer we can use Skype or similar.
- Computer, iPad or Smartphone: The best choice is a laptop with built-in camera. An iPad or any tablet with a good quality camera will work.
